Sailing trip

On Tuesday the 15th of May, my friends and I went on a trip to learn how to sail at the yachting club in Okahu bay.

First of all, we all got dropped off at the nearest bus stop by Okahu bay. There we walked to the yachting club, and that’s where we were going to sail.

Then, we met a healthy grown man named Justin who was teaching us how so set up the boat, steer, catch the wind in our sail in order to go faster because he said ‘We are going to have a race after morning tea’ and finally how to position ourselves in the boat.

After all of that fun, Telasia one of our school ambassador, thanked everyone and we got into our dry clothes. The bus driver arrived just as we were leaving. We all had fun getting wet and seeing our other classmates
